Job Description:
Administration Assistant
*Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour (PAYE)
*Location: Assisted Living Leeds, Clarence Road, Leeds, LS10
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (1 - 2 months)
Leeds City Council are looking for a dedicated full-time Administration Assistant to join the team at Assisted Living Leeds. This role is crucial in supporting Adults and Children by ensuring timely delivery of community equipment. The position involves a variety of tasks beyond routine administrative duties, including liaising with Health & Social Care assessors and external suppliers.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Coordinating the ordering and supply of equipment to support daily living tasks and independence.
*Developing strong working relationships with assessors and maintaining daily administration processes.
*Actioning referrals received electronically and scheduling deliveries, collections, and servicing of community equipment.
*Ensuring all referral information is complete, correct, and promptly updated in the system.
*Responding to telecare calls and email inquiries from NHS and Social Care assessors.
*Managing financial processes such as raising orders and processing invoices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Motivated with a commitment to the role.
*Knowledgeable in various applications, systems, and IT programs with the ability to accurately record and retrieve information.
*Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse audiences.
*Ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicting demands effectively.
*Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a health or social care setting.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications used by the council.
*Office-based role with structured working hours.
