The role calls for more than technical finance expertise. We are looking for an inspiring leader and manager who can build credibility across the business, lead from the front, and develop a high-performing finance team. You will play a central role in supporting strategic decision-making, improving performance, and ensuring the finance function operates with excellence, control, and commercial focus.

*Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and board reporting
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making
*Partner closely with senior leaders across land, development, sales, and build teams
*Oversee cash flow, financial planning, and working capital management
*Ensure balance sheet integrity, statutory compliance, and effective governance across the function
*Manage year-end reporting and external audit processes

About you:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
*Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within housebuilding
*A strong leader with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop others
*Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of operating with autonomy and accountability
*Commercially minded with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
*Strong technical and analytical capability, combined with a practical, hands-on approach
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business
