Payroll AdministratorExperienced Payroll Administrator required to join a busy Finance team, managing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for up to 300 employees. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and previous end-to-end payroll experience.

The RoleAs Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing multiple payrolls for both new and existing contractors. Working closely with the wider Finance team, you will ensure all payroll activity is processed efficiently, accurately, and within strict deadlines.
This role would suit someone with previous payroll experience who enjoys working in a busy, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in delivering an excellent service.
Key Responsibilities* Administration and reconciliation of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls (ranging from 1-300 employees)
* Ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and paid on time
* Processing statutory deductions and Attachment of Earnings Orders
* Producing P45s and processing P6 notices
* Preparing BACS files for submission
* Releasing and processing holiday pay requests
* Checking and processing CIS contractor invoices
* Responding to payroll queries from contractors, agencies, HMRC, and DWP
* Reviewing payroll processes and identifying improvements
* Producing payroll reports and updates when required
* Supporting with general administration and ad-hoc finance queries
About You* Previous payroll administration experience is essential
* Knowledge of pensions, auto-enrolment, and high-volume payroll processing is highly desirable
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and payroll systems
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work
