Job Description:
Talent Finance is partnering on an exclusive basis with a high-growth, multi-site manufacturing and distribution group to appoint a Group Operations Director.
This is a board-level leadership role with significant scope, influence and visibility, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver the operational strategy of a dynamic and evolving organisation.
The Opportunity
You will take full ownership of Group Operations, spanning manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing and facilities, with a clear mandate to drive performance, scalability and operational excellence.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Board, you will define and execute a long-term operations strategy, ensuring the business is optimally structured to support growth, efficiency and commercial success.
Key Focus Areas
*Leading and aligning multi-site operational functions to deliver consistent, high-performance outcomes
*Driving efficiency, cost optimisation and service excellence across the end-to-end supply chain
*Embedding robust operational frameworks, governance and best practice
*Leading transformation and continuous improvement initiatives at scale
*Building, developing and inspiring high-performing leadership teams
*Partnering at Board level to align operations with strategic, commercial and financial objectives
The Profile
*You will be an experienced, commercially astute operations leader with a proven track record at Director / Board level within a complex, multi-site environment.
*It would be desirable to have experience covering either logistics/distribution, manufacturing and/or supply chain operations
*A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into delivery
*Strong leadership capability, with a focus on culture, performance and accountability
*A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
*Experience leading change, transformation and business improvement programmes
