A growing, well-established partner practice within one of the UK’s largest national wealth management networks is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their technical team in Manchester City Centre. This is a well-resourced wealth management practice operating within a major national network, with a strong specialism in pensions transfer work, investments, tax and estate planning. The firm is led by experienced Wealth Managers who take a long-term view on both client relationships and staff development. They’ve grown steadily and this Paraplanner hire reflects that continued growth. Based in Manchester City Centre, the practice offers hybrid working and a collaborative, supportive team culture.
The role:
You’ll work closely with the Wealth Managers and their clients to provide the technical backbone of the advice process. This is a hands-on paraplanning role with genuine variety — from cash flow modelling and suitability reports through to attending client meetings and managing files end-to-end.
*Preparing suitability reports and advice letters across pensions, investments, tax and IHT
*Building and updating cash flow models for client reviews and new business
*Researching and analysing financial products and provider solutions
*Attending client meetings alongside Wealth Managers as required
*Managing client files end-to-end, liaising with administrators and providers
*Keeping templates and advice notes up to date and compliant
What you’ll need:
*Paraplanning experience within a national wealth management network
*Sound technical knowledge across pensions transfers, investments and estate planning
*Confident writing suitability reports to a high standard
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files
*Comfortable dealing with clients, providers and third parties
Working towards your Level 4 Diploma? That’s fine — Level 4 is not required and exam support is part of the package
The package:
*Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
