Architectural Technologist
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35-40,000
We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a well-established, RIBA-chartered architectural practice based in Birmingham. This thriving studio works across a broad range of sectors and project sizes, including hospitality, healthcare, education and residential schemes. The practice prides itself on delivering high-quality, client-focused design solutions, resulting in a strong pipeline of repeat work and long-standing client relationships. The successful Architectural Technologist will have solid post-qualification experience and strong technical ability. Experience working on healthcare and residential projects would be beneficial, and proficiency in Revit is essential.

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:
* Proven experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
* Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment
* HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
* Membership of CIAT or working towards chartered status
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical standards
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
The role of Architectural Technologist will involve:
* Producing high quality technical drawings and supporting documentation in line with internal quality procedures
* Managing the delivery of detailed design information, including working drawings, schedules and specifications using CAD and BIM
* Acting as Project Manager where required, ensuring technical delivery is efficient, on time and within budget
* Attending project, studio and site meetings to support coordination and communication across all stakeholders
* Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with appointment documents, scopes of service and contract obligations
* Supporting quality assurance processes and reporting technical or contractual risks to senior staff
