Job Description:
Cover Supervisor- Liverpool & Merseyside
We are seeking adaptable and confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Liverpool and surrounding areas (Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley). This is an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals seeking flexible work.
Key Duties:
*Supervise students across various subjects.
*Ensure pupils complete pre-planned work left by the absent teacher.
*Maintain a positive learning environment by enforcing school behaviour codes.
*Assist pupils with queries regarding the set tasks and learning materials.
*Register students and return completed work to the department head.
*Manage any immediate classroom emergencies according to school procedures.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with children/young people (11-16 years).
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
*Strong verbal and written skills to engage students effectively.
