The Heart of the Role
We aren’t just looking for someone to "do a job"—we’re looking for someone to make a difference. As a Support Worker/HCA, you will be the backbone of our residents’ daily lives. You’ll provide the physical care they need and the emotional support that makes them feel seen, heard, and valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day will be varied, but your core focus will include:
*Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, and hygiene with the utmost dignity and respect.
*Daily Living: Helping with meal times, mobility, and keeping living spaces comfortable.
*Emotional Support: Being a friendly face, a good listener, and a source of encouragement.
*Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate daily logs to ensure the highest standard of care continuity.
*Community & Connection: Supporting residents in social activities and helping them stay connected to their interests.
What We’re Looking For
*Empathy First: You naturally put yourself in others’ shoes and treat everyone with kindness.
*Reliability: Our residents depend on you, so showing up and being consistent is non-negotiable.
*Communication: You can talk to anyone and, more importantly, you know how to listen.
*Resilience: Care work can be demanding; you need a "can-do" attitude and a sense of humor to match.
*Experience: Previous experience is a plus, but your values and attitude matter more. We can train the skills; we can’t train the heart.
Requirements
*Right to work in the UK.
*Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
*One Male Driver with Full Uk Driving Licence and One Female without Driving Licence
