07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:00 to 13:00 Friday
The Role
We are recruiting a Labourer to support a busy Rail organisation in Burton upon Trent. This hands-on role involves steam bay cleaning, packing and wrapping parts, operating site equipment, and carrying out general Labouring duties within a regulated engineering environment
Key Duties
*Wash/clean vehicles such as rafts, engines, rafts frames and transmissions using pressured washer equipment
*Prepare machinery/vehicles for delivery
*Must be able to pack and shrink wrap products
*Must be able to assist in site maintenance as needed i.e. litter picking, compact and bale waste
Essential Skills
*Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven engineering environment
*You should be able to load and unload materials and equipment across the site
*Clear focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
Desirable
*Background and Experience in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing, engineering, or logistics environment
*Experience working in regulated or safety critical settings
