Teacher of Maths - Northampton
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: June or September 2026
Full-Time | Permanent (Preferred) | Fixed-Term or Long-Term Supply Considered
Are you a Maths teacher who enjoys helping students make sense of numbers, patterns, and problem-solving?
Do you take pride in making Maths accessible, engaging, and relevant for learners of all abilities?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint a committed Teacher of Maths. The school is ideally seeking a permanent appointment, though they are also open to fixed-term or long-term supply arrangements depending on what suits the right candidate.
The Role:*Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available depending on experience
*Planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, structured, and adapted to different ability levels
*Supporting students to build confidence and strengthen their problem-solving skills
*Working collaboratively within a supportive Maths department
*Contributing to wider school life, including intervention sessions, revision support, and enrichment activities such as STEM clubs
What We’re Looking For:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) in Mathematics
*Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum
*A genuine passion for helping students succeed and enjoy Maths
*Organised, adaptable, and confident in the classroom
*A positive team player willing to contribute beyond the classroom
ECTs are welcome to apply, with full induction and mentoring support provided.
