Barnard Marcus, part of the Connells Group, is seeking a high performing Mortgage professional to join us as a Mortgage Services Area Manager, leading a successful Mortgage Services team across Croydon & the surrounding area.


Each year, customers across the Connells Group place their trust in us to support property transactions representing substantial lending volumes across a wide range of price points. This role sits at the heart of that activity, recruiting, managing and developing a growing team of 4–5 Mortgage Consultants embedded within established, high performing estate agency branches.


This opportunity will suit either a top quartile Mortgage Advisor ready to step into management or an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager looking to operate within a larger, market leading group. You’ll work closely with an experienced, Senior Sales Manager, combining local accountability with the scale, structure, and support of one of the UK’s most successful property services organisations.

*Lead, coach, and develop a focused team of Mortgage Consultants
*Drive performance across mortgage and protection income streams
*Partner closely with Estate Agency colleagues to maximise opportunity
*Ensure consistent, compliant, high quality advice delivery
*Build a strong performance culture aligned to Connells Group standards


About You
*CeMAP (or equivalent) – essential
*Proven success within Mortgage Services
*Either a consistently top performing advisor or an existing sales manager


Career Progression & Development


This Mortgage Services Area Manager role offers a strong platform for progression within Mortgage Services at the Connells Group. You’ll gain valuable management experience within a defined territory, working with an experienced leadership team and benefiting from structured development and coaching.


With sustained performance and demonstrated leadership capability, there is clear progression into Mortgage Services Sales Manager and senior leadership roles across the Group. Connells has a strong track record of promoting from within, with many senior leaders beginning their careers as Mortgage Advisors and first line managers.
