Overview
We are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team, specialising in Accounts Payable.
Crowe’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) department supports the firm with a range of internal finance services
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations
*Process and post purchase invoices accurately and efficiently in line with internal policies and deadlines.
*Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and recorded on the relevant accounting systems.
*Invoices will be international invoices using different currencies.
*Processing 600-800 invoices per month.
Internal Query Handling
*Respond to accounts payable related queries in a timely and professional manner.
*Liaise with national finance, partners and operational teams to resolve invoice or payment-related issues.
Administrative & Team Support
*Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation.
*Assist senior team members and supervisors with day-to-day accounts payable activities.
*Support the wider finance team during peak periods and with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Controls & Accuracy
*Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a accuracy and integrity.
*Follow internal controls, procedures, and firm policies at all times.
Required Attributes
*1+ years’ experience processing purchase invoices in an accounts payable or a finance role.
*Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Comfortable working with confidential internal financial information.
*A reliable team player with a professional and proactive approach.
Desirable Skills & Experience
*Experience working within an internal finance team.
*Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
*Interest in developing a longer-term career within finance.
