Job Description:
Trainee Estimator
CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am -4pm.
We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.
The successful Trainee Estimator will be responsible for:
*Utilising estimating software to build quotations
*Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
*Develop cost plans and budget estimates
*Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
*Carrying out labour and material take-off’s
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
*Excellent time management and ability to multitask
*Working within a client lead role
*Reporting to the Estimating Manager
The Trainee Estimator will have:
*Good IT skills, including Excel
*Good communication skills and confident on the phone
*Always upholds a professional attitude
*Flexibility and commitment
