Job Description:
About the RoleWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in a residential care home setting. You will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities*Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
*Support residents with mobility and daily activities
*Help with meal preparation and feeding where required
*Monitor and record residents’ health and wellbeing
*Provide emotional support and companionship
*Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
*Follow care plans and report any changes to senior staff
*Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies
Requirements*Previous experience in a care or support role
*A caring, patient, and respectful nature
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
*Basic literacy and numeracy skills
*Willingness to undertake training and development
Desirable Qualifications*Practical Manual Handling
*Practical Basic Life Support
*All in One Mandatory training
