Job Description:
Import Operator
Basildon
Monday - Friday (9am - 5:15pm)
A busy freight forwarding company are searching for an Import Operator to join their team
Responsibilities:
*Manage import process from pre-alert to release
*Send invoices to UK importers prior to shipment arrivals
*Ensuring correct tarriffs are charged
*Ensure costs are entered correctly
*Obtain exchange rate from each carrier
*Liaise with suppliers internally and externally
*Book deliveries
*Handle releases on CNS and Destin8
*Ensure clearance instructions are passed to the correct team
Looking for someone with experience working within an Import position
