Audit Trainee Apprenticeship – Peterborough




Salary – Salary or Competitive depending on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Holiday –23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)


About the Audit Trainee role

As a Trainee Auditor, you will gain hands-on experience in planning and conducting audits for a variety of clients. You will assist in preparing audit working papers, reviewing financial records, and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and regulations. This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced auditors, develop technical skills, and build strong client relationships while working towards your professional qualifications.


Key responsibilities of a Audit Trainee will include:
*Performing substantive testing and analytical procedures, and preparing audit working papers for review.
*Supporting audit planning, drafting financial statements, and identifying key risks and issues.
*Communicating directly with clients to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
*ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements




About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
*achieved three grade B or higher at A-level or equivalent
*good attention to detail
*a hardworking attitude
*a highly personable individual
