Job Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Account Handler within commercial insurance, ideally in construction but this isn’t essential.
This role is working with an independent brokerage based in Westcliffe-on-Sea, Essex.
This is a full time role, on a hybrid basis where you will be working within a busy team, dealing with all aspects of account handling including renewals.
You will be responsible for:
*Acting as a main point of contact for general commercial and construction clients, providing support to them for their cover, premiums, documentation and policy requirments
*Process all insurance documentation, predominantly into the construction industry.
*Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Obtaining information relating to renewals, liaising with insurers and reviewing all documentation needed to ensure a seamless and effective service
*Using Acturis to process MTAs, new business, renewals and generate documentation
Experience required:
*At least 3 years experience as a commercial insurance Account Handler, ideally within construction
*A good understanding of construction insurance products
*Confident with excellent communication skills
*Acturis experience
*Client centric approach
*Highly organised with the ability to handle high volume at pace with accuracy and efficiency
