Job Description:
Contract role £450-500 per day Inside IR35
Initial 3 month contract
Must be able to get to Manchester as a preference for 2-3 days a week onsite. Other Northern Digital hubs will be considered (Leeds/Newcastle/Sheffield and Birmingham).
TrueNorth have partnered with a consultancy who are looking for a project Manager who has experience of working on projects from the beginning. Their end client is going through a large transformation, and the right project manager will have good experience of discovery phase through to go live.
The project manager must have exposure to big government organisations.
Day to day the project manager will -
*Be able to work at pace, delivering multiple complex requirements/projects concurrently, with the ability to motivate internal and external partners, peers and stakeholders to deliver as required.
*Be well versed in different project management tools and techniques and know when to apply the right one.
*Be adept at spotting project risks and blockers and work at removing or acting upon them. Be a creative and effective planner – both internal and external to team – optimising speed to market, value and quality ·
*Be able to solve or escalate issues quickly and effectively, identifying themes and help the team learn from experience.
*Demonstrate ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and to cope effectively with complexity and change.
