Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant on behalf of our team, based in Maidstone. This Senior Recruitment Consultant opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
About the Role:*Leading permanent recruitment activity within the engineering and technical sector
*Managing and developing key client accounts, acting as a trusted recruitment partner
*Mentoring junior consultants and supporting team performance
*Overseeing candidate sourcing, interviewing, and shortlisting processes
*Providing market insight, salary benchmarking, and recruitment advice to clients
*Ensuring all recruitment activity meets compliance and quality standards
*Maintaining accurate systems, reports, and performance data
*Delivering a professional, customer-focused service at all times
About You:*Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally within a specialist or technical market
*Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and reporting tools
*Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working to targets
*Must have the Right to Work in the UK
Salary & Working Pattern:*£32,000 – £40,000 per annum + uncapped commission
*37.5 hours per week
*Monday–Friday with hybrid working available
