Position: Project Engineer - Wind
Location: Bodmin, Cornwall (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
A leading UK renewable energy developer is looking for a Project Engineer to support onshore wind farm projects across development, construction, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce wind farm layouts, access designs, and technical drawings
*Support cost estimation and identify design efficiencies
*Assist project delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards
*Identify risks and ensure project feasibility
*Coordinate third-party consultants and provide technical input
Requirements
*Proficient in AutoCAD and vehicle tracking software
*Basic knowledge of onshore wind projects
*Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
*Awareness of CDM regulations
*Willingness to travel across the UK
Desirable
*Experience with Civil 3D/InfraWorks
*Knowledge of BoP/TSA contracts
*Surveying or setting out experience
