Job Description:
MorePeople are partnering with a well established food manufacturing business in the Lincoln area to recruit their next HR Advisor. This role sits within the central HR function, with a strong focus on policy and compliance alongside broader generalist responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, be equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and provide proactive, expert HR support across the business.
Responsibilities:
*Build strong relationships with managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters
*Lead on employee wellbeing initiatives, including absence management, welfare support, and occupational health coordination
*Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles through to onboarding, and support wider recruitment campaigns
*Support the development, review, and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation
*Assist managers in identifying development needs and implementing effective development plans
*Contribute to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, using workforce data to support continuous improvement
*Maintain and analyse HR data, producing reports and insights to support informed decision-making
*Support employee engagement activities, including annual surveys and follow-up initiatives
*Handle a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters
*Work closely with the wider HR team and key stakeholders to deliver HR strategies and ensure compliance, including GDPR requirements
Requirements and skills:
*Proven HR experience at a similar level (CIPD Level 5 or equivalent)
*Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
*Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
*Experience using HR systems (e.g. HRIS platforms)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential data
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Willingness to travel to other sites on an ad hoc basis

37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
