Aspire People are recruiting a supportive and attentive **SEND Teaching Assistant** to work within a primary school, supporting pupils with **Autism (ASC)** and communication needs.
The school is looking for someone who understands the importance of routine, structure, and communication in helping pupils feel secure and succeed.
**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with Autism within the classroom setting
* Assisting with structured routines and visual learning strategies
* Supporting communication and social interaction skills
* Working alongside teaching staff to adapt learning materials
* Supporting both group activities and occasional individual support
* Helping to create a calm, predictable, and supportive environment
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience working with pupils with Autism or similar needs
* Understanding of sensory needs and structured support approaches
* Patient, consistent, and empathetic approach
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Background in education, care, or support roles
