Full job descriptionBusiness Studies Teacher (KS3 & KS4) - Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a welcoming Maghull secondary school on a short-term basis.
This is a part-time position, working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), delivering engaging and high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role is to start immediately and will run until May half term.
There is also the opportunity for this to become a full-time role for candidates who are willing to undertake general cover on the fifth day.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver effective Business Studies lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
*Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4
*Strong classroom management skills
*Flexibility and a proactive approach
*Immediate start
*22 May 2026 finish
*Monday - Thursday with the option for general cover on the Friday

*Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
*Full and complete 10-year career history
*Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
*Legal right to work in the UK
