Your new company
An expanding manufacturing business based in Teesside is seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support continued growth. This is a 3-6 month temporary assignment with the strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will work closely with an experienced Financial Controller in a fast-paced and collaborative finance function.
Ideally, our client is looking to appoint with a view to an immediate start.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations.
Duties will include:
*Managing and assisting with the credit control function
*Processing and maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
*Performing account and ledger reconciliations
*Allocating payments and resolving account queries
*Supporting month-end activities as required
*General finance administration to support the wider team
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
*Proven exposure to credit control, ledger processing and reconciliations
*Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability
*Confident using accounting systems and Excel
*Available at short notice or ideally immediately
*A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to adapt in a growing business
