Full job descriptionReed Finance are supporting a client to appoint a Project Accountant. My client is seeking an organised and analytical finance professional to support financial planning, forecasting and programme control activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate and report on financial activities across multiple projects
*Support validation of financial inputs for business proposals
*Develop work breakdown structures, project plans and schedules
*Prepare budgets, forecast and Estimate at Completion
*Monitor billing milestones and track performance against plan
*Identify and report financial, programme and resource variances
*Support risk management and value-for-money assessments
*Contribute to contract reviews and month-end financial reporting
*Maintain financial data within SAP and support reporting improvements
Essential Skills & Experience
*Strong understanding of accountancy principles
*Advanced Excel skills and confidence using MS Office and Google Suite
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
*Experience with work package management and cost control
*Knowledge of risk management principles
*Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Structured, methodical approach to planning and reporting
