An outstanding primary school in Ewell & Epsom area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Year 3 Class Teacher to join their KS1 team on a temporary maternity cover contract after May half term.

The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
*NO planning involved, but expected to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 3 curriculum
*Marking pupils work
*Supports pupils’ transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2
*Teaches core subjects including English, maths, and science
*Assesses and tracks pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet different needs
*Creates a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
*Manages classroom behaviour effectively using clear expectations
*Provides feedback to pupils to support improvement
*Works closely with teaching assistants and other staff
*Communicates with parents about pupil progress and wellbeing
What the School Is Looking For
*UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Proven experience teaching Year 3
*Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
*Experience delivering phonics, ideally using Little Wandle
*A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style
*Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
