Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (SEND Experience)

Qualifications they need to have:
*Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable)
*Team Teach or other behaviour management training (desirable)
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience they must have:
*Experience working within a primary school setting
*Experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD/ASC, SEMH, ADHD or speech and language needs
*Experience working with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
*Strong behaviour management and ability to support emotional regulation
Role expectations:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
*Implement EHCP targets and support individual learning plans
*Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
*Assist with phonics, numeracy and early learning interventions
*Build positive relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
*Support with personal care where required
