Maplebrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built home in Wolverhampton, providing high quality residential and specialist care for up to 81 residents within a supportive and welcoming environment.
Care Assistant Contract
*£12.71 per hour
*Full Time
*Dayshift, 7am to 7pm
*Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
*5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long term health challenges. Your role is to provide safe, consistent and person centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans and support structured routines, helping to create a calm, stable and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents, understanding their needs and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
This is a hands on role that requires patience, resilience and a calm approach, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of residents while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently at all times.

*Good communication and teamwork skills
*A calm, patient and resilient attitude
*Willingness to learn and develop within a complex care environment
*Previous experience in care or mental health is beneficial but not essential
*NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to obtain
