Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Claims Adjuster - FinPro on behalf of a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a excellent Syndicate and continue to develop your PI or FI/D&O Claims experience in a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Adjusting a portfolio of Professional Lines claims, to include PI/ FI/D&O.
*Setting up and authorising claim payments within specified authority.
*Negotiating and settling claims within specified authority.
*Preparing claim correspondence on questions of coverage and claim value within specified authority.
*Handling and managing all claims in accordance with current internal claims procedures / Lloyd’s Claims Minimum Standards.
*Managing vendors, such as defence and coverage counsel.
*Managing recoveries within authority.
*Working with underwriters to provide updates, evaluate exposures, and assist with development of policy wordings and other contractual documents.
Key Requirements
*Up to 5 years of handling PI or FI/D&O claims.
*Good understanding of policy wordings.
*Good knowledge of London market and European claim environments.
*Some experience handling International and US claims would be an advantage.
*Good oral and written communication skills, as well as organisational skills.
*Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
*Knowledge of Genius, TRAX, Open Box and ECF would be advantageous.
*A resilient self-starter who can immediately handle a diverse range of claims and responsibilities.
