SEN Support Worker - SEN SchoolLocation: SEN School
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
Pay: £14.25 - £16.64 per hour (dependent on experience, qualifications, and pay type)
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Support Worker to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a rewarding full-time role, supporting students with a range of complex needs and helping them to access education in a safe, nurturing environment.
The Role:*Supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of SEN, including learning difficulties, autism, and additional needs
*Providing personal care support where required (full training and guidance provided)
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
*Assisting with classroom activities and supporting learning outcomes
*Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
*Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff
The Ideal Candidate:*Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or care setting)
*Comfortable with and committed to providing personal care
*Patient, compassionate, and resilient
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
*Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the child workforce
