Hours: Full time
Working pattern: 9 day working fortnight
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ASSISTANT LETTINGS MANAGER / SENIOR LETTINGS CONSULTANT to join a high performing and well respected residential lettings business covering Cobham, Claygate and Hinchley Wood.
This is a superb opportunity for a seasoned lettings professional looking to take the next step into a management support role, working as a strong number two within a growing and ambitious department.
You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, driving portfolio growth, and ensuring consistently high service standards across multiple local areas.
The Role
As an ASSISTANT LETTINGS MANAGER / SENIOR LETTINGS CONSULTANT, you will combine hands on lettings activity with operational support and team coordination.
Working closely with the Lettings Manager, you will support the day to day running of the office, guide team members, and contribute to both new business generation and ongoing portfolio management.
This is a varied and fast paced role offering progression, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Generating and conducting market appraisals
Winning new instructions and contributing to portfolio growth
Managing landlords and tenants, delivering excellent service throughout the lettings process
Conducting viewings, negotiating tenancies and progressing lets through to move in
Supporting the Lettings Manager with the day to day running of the office
Assisting and guiding negotiators to maintain high performance standards
Overseeing applicant management, tenancy pipeline and property listings
Supporting rental valuations, marketing strategy and compliance processes
Coordinating maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
Maintaining strong internal communication and upholding brand standards
Keeping up to date with lettings legislation and market trends
What we are looking for
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Residential Lettings
Strong track record, ideally at Senior Lettings Negotiator level
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proactive, motivated and customer focused approach
Experience supporting or mentoring team members would be advantageous
Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Positive team player with a professional attitude
Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle is essential
