Academics is working closely with an excellent secondary school in Swindon who are seeking motivated Cover Supervisors for both short-term and permanent roles. We’re looking for dependable, confident individuals who can lead classes using pre-set lesson plans and help maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
This position is ideal for those wanting a flexible role while gaining valuable insight into classroom life, particularly if you’re considering a future in teaching.

Cover Supervisor Main Responsibilities:
*Manage behaviour in the classroom and ensure a positive learning environment
*Supervise the completion of work set by teachers in a range of different subject
*Be a positive influence to students
*Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and health a safety of students in the classroom
The ideal candidate
*Experience working with children in an educational capacity
*A degree or direct experience working as a cover supervisor
*Excellent communication skills
*Organised with good attention to detail
*Ability to keep calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviour.
