About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and creative Email Marketing Copywriter to join our growing marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to write compelling, engaging, and conversion-focused content that captures attention and drives customer action.
You’ll be responsible for creating high-performing email campaigns across promotional sends, customer journeys, newsletters, and automated workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tone of voice, customer engagement, and digital marketing best practices, with the ability to turn ideas into content people actually want to click on instead of instantly deleting while pretending they’ll "come back to it later."
Key Responsibilities
*Write engaging and persuasive copy for email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and automated customer journeys
*Create attention-grabbing subject lines and clear calls-to-action to improve engagement and conversions
*Work closely with marketing, CRM, and design teams to develop campaign messaging and content strategies
*Adapt tone of voice across different audiences, brands, and campaign objectives
*Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment
*Support A/B testing of subject lines, messaging, and campaign content
*Optimise email content using campaign performance insights and engagement data
*Ensure all content is compliant with GDPR and email marketing best practices
*Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging email marketing techniques
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in copywriting, content writing, email marketing, or CRM marketing
*Excellent written communication and grammar skills
*Strong understanding of marketing psychology and customer engagement
*Experience writing conversion-focused content
*Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
*Strong attention to detail and proofreading ability
*Commercially aware with a creative mindset
Desirable
*Experience within B2B marketing
*Understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing
*Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing channels
*Experience using analytics and campaign reporting tools
