Location: Southwest Hertfordshire (25 mins from Central London)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (flexibility for evenings/weekends required)
Reporting to: Head of Projects
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a fast-growing, creative live events production business delivering high-profile and immersive experiences across iconic venues and global brands.
This is a hands-on role for a technically strong project leader who enjoys taking an event from initial concept through to on-site delivery. You’ll work across lighting, audio and video systems, leading technical teams and ensuring projects are delivered creatively, commercially, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage live event projects from client brief to on-site delivery
*Act as the technical lead, engineering creative solutions with internal teams
*Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations
*Produce technical designs, documentation, quotes, and proposals
*Manage budgets, logistics, and schedules
*Lead and motivate technical crews on site
*Adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced live environment
About You
*Strong technical background in lighting, audio, or video, with working knowledge of the others
*Proven experience delivering live events or production projects
*Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
*Experience with system design, technical plots, and H&S documentation
*Proficient in AutoCAD and rental/asset management software
*Commercially aware, able to manage budgets and produce accurate quotes
*Full UK driving licence desirable
