Location: Trafford
Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team in Trafford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. If you’re passionate about making a real difference in their learning journey, wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons based on individual SEN learning profiles.
Adapt lessons to support emotional regulation and a range of learning styles.
Help students develop key subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence.
Establish a trusting and supportive rapport with students to create a safe learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents/carers or professionals when necessary.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
Experience working with SEN students in a one-on-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
