Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging science lessons to students across various key stages, adapting to different learning needs and styles.
*Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.
*Prepare lesson materials and resources, utilizing a range of educational techniques.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
*Step in to cover absences and provide continuity of education for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching science subjects at secondary school level.
*Strong classroom management skills.
*Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning abilities.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
