Salary: £26,000 - £31,200 per year (£100-£120 per day, PAYE + pension)

We’re urgently recruiting a reliable, hands-on School Caretaker to join a friendly alternative provision school in Hatfield. With an immediate start available, you could be in post within days, supported by a paid handover period to get you up to speed quickly and confidently.
This is a key role at the heart of the school. You’ll take real ownership of the site, play a vital part in keeping everything running smoothly, and become a valued member of a supportive, close-knit team. There’s also a strong opportunity for this position to transition into a permanent role next academic year.
Please note: A full driving licence is essential due to split shifts and occasional travel to the St Albans site.

*Travel occasionally to support the St Albans site

*Practical with hands-on maintenance or DIY skills
*Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
