Management Accountant Opportunity – Construction & Infrastructure
A growing construction and infrastructure business is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to support the continued development of its finance function.

This is a hands-on finance role offering strong exposure to senior leadership, operational teams, and commercial reporting. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in improving month-end processes, strengthening financial controls, and enhancing reporting across the business.

This opportunity would suit a part-qualified accountant or experienced Assistant Management Accountant looking to progress within the construction, housebuilding, or infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting a 5–7 day month-end close process
*Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance reporting
*Improving financial reporting processes and controls
*Working extensively with COINS construction accounting software
*Developing and improving Excel-based financial models and reporting packs
*Partnering with operational and commercial teams across the business
Skills & Experience Required*Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
*Strong month-end accounting experience
*Advanced Excel skills including reporting and analysis
*Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or housebuilding finance
*Experience using COINS accounting software is essential or highly advantageous
*Strong understanding of management reporting and financial controls
*Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving finance environment
