About the Role: We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join Teaching Personnel, supporting specialist schools in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
You will teach a small class of pupils with a range of needs, such as ASD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties, delivering personalised learning that supports both academic achievement and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
*Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised support strategies
*Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
*Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external agencies
*Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches as needed
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience working with SEND pupils (desirable)
*Strong understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching strategies
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
