*Location: Flexible with office attendance 3 days per week
*Job Type: Full-time
*Pay rate: £22-£27 per hour PAYE dependent on experience. Umbrella payment route available.
*Length of role: Initial 12 months
We are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join our multi-disciplined team. The main duties will involve carrying out Fire Risk Assessments primarily in schools and public buildings. This role offers flexible working conditions and the opportunity to work within an excellent team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across various schools and public buildings.
*Manage post-Fire Risk Assessment construction works from tender production to execution and completion on site.
*Assist the Senior Statutory Compliance Surveyor in delivering high-quality services, focusing on Fire Risk Assessment and Building Surveying.
*Ensure compliance with all parts of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
*Develop and coordinate a prioritised programme of work for Fire Risk Assessments.
*Provide professional advice on fire safety matters and compliance with Fire Safety legislation to a range of managers.
*Liaise with Building Managers, Building Control, the Fire Service, and licensing authorities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessments in schools and public buildings.
*Relevant training/qualifications in Fire Risk Assessment to FPA Standards or equivalent.
*Knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
*Ability to manage and execute construction works post-assessment.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Proficiency in managing data and reports related to Fire Risk Assessments.
