We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a large and supportive mainstream Primary School from September 2026, taking on full classroom responsibility within a Year 5 class for the full academic year.
The school benefits from a collaborative approach to planning, where responsibilities are shared across the year group, creating a supportive and well-structured teaching environment.
Position Details:
*Start Date: September 2026
*Contract: Full time, full academic year
*Key Stage: Year 5 (KS2)
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS)
*Confidence teaching Key Stage 2 pupils
*Strong classroom management and organisational skills
*A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
Suitable for:
*Experienced teachers
*Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – school have capacity to support ECT induction.
Role Responsibilities:
*Full classroom teaching responsibility within a Year 5 class
*Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons (with shared planning across the team)
*Supporting pupil progress and attainment
*Contributing to the wider school community
Recruitment Process:

*Following shortlisting, successful candidates will be invited to:

*A 30-minute lesson observation
*A 30-minute interview with the Head Teacher
