Full job descriptionCaretaker (Full-Time) – Immediate Start
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our school on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, safety-focused individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming school environment.
Key Details
*Start date: ASAP
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
*Pay:£18 – £20 per hour (depending on experience)
*Contract: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
*General site maintenance and basic repairs
*Opening and securing the school buildings
*Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across the site
*Carrying out routine checks (fire alarms, lighting, fencing, etc.)
*Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
*Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
The Ideal Candidate Will
*Have previous caretaking, maintenance, or site management experience
*Be practical, hands-on, and able to work independently
*Have a good understanding of health & safety procedures
*Be reliable, punctual, and flexible when required
*Have strong communication skills
