Full job descriptionPE Teachers NeededAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and energetic PE Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Salford from September 2026. This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about physical education, student wellbeing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
About the PositionAs a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting an active, healthy lifestyle while delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure pupils are challenged, supported, and inspired both in lessons and through wider sporting opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
*Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
*Planning lessons that meet curriculum requirements and pupils’ needs
*Supporting pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development
*Playing an active part in school sport, clubs, and competitions
Who We’re Looking ForThe successful candidate will:
*Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve this by September 2026)
*Have a genuine enthusiasm for PE and school sport
*Be able to motivate pupils of all abilities and backgrounds
*Demonstrate strong organisation and communication skills
*Be keen to engage fully with school life beyond the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
