Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in education? We are currently seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Bradford on a supply basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, work flexibly, or continue their career within education.
The Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work.
Duties Include: Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Delivering pre-planned work to students
Supervising students in a calm and professional manner
Supporting pupils with learning where required
Ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment
Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Reporting back to teaching staff after lessons
The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working within UK secondary schools is essential
Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or similar school-based role preferred
Strong behaviour management skills
Confident leading a classroom independently
Excellent communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Good understanding of the UK education system and school expectations
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
