Full job descriptionSEN Primary Teacher – Virginia Water | Full Time | ASAP Start
We are working with a welcoming SEN primary school in Virginia Water to recruit a dedicated and experienced teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
The school supports around 60 pupils across 6 classes, all of whom have EHCPs and needs relating to autism and communication/interaction. Staff benefit from strong in-class support and a collaborative working environment.
The Role:
*Teaching a class of pupils in Years 3–6
*Supporting children with ASD and complex communication and interaction needs
*Planning and delivering differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
*Working closely with a Senior Teaching Assistant and up to 3 Teaching Assistants
*Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
*QTS preferred
*Alternatively, if no QTS, strong experience teaching pupils with autism and/or complex social communication needs
*Ability to plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet a wide range of needs
*A patient, proactive, and consistent approach to behaviour and learning
Details:
*Full-time, Monday to Friday
*Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
*Start date: ASAP
