Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed Finance are currently assisting an established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Finance Manager to oversee their day-to-day finance operations. This role is crucial for managing financial health of the business and requires a professional who is adept at multi-tasking and has a strong background in finance management. As a Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, driving the business forward with your expertise.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the entire finance function, including direct management of 2 staff
*Manage working capital and Treasury Management.
*Ensure compliance with all tax requirements, including VAT and Corporation Tax.
*Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reports.
*Update forecasts and monitor KPIs to ensure financial targets are met.
*Production of yearly financial statements
*Reporting directly to MD and provide financial advice to other departments as needed.
*Be part of Senior Leadership Team and contribute to strategic decisions.
*Support external auditors
*Provide Finance information to shareholders’ as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ACCA/CIMA qualification, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
*Proficient in using Sage and MS Excel.
*At least five years of management experience within a finance environment, demonstrating effective team management and motivation.
*In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and VAT regulations.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both finance and non-finance individuals effectively.
*Strong commercial acumen and technical finance expertise.
*Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to financial management.
