The Role
The school is seeking to appoint a committed and adaptable Business Studies Teacher to join its established team. This role offers an opportunity to deliver engaging and accessible Business Studies lessons tailored to students with a range of learning needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students to develop practical business understanding, and promoting key life skills such as communication, problem-solving and financial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver differentiated Business Studies lessons appropriate for SEND learners

*Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs

*Monitor, assess and report on student progress

*Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral staff

*Support students’ personal development alongside academic progress

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable, though not essential for a suitable candidate)

*Have experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level

*Demonstrate an understanding of SEND, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area

*Show patience, resilience and a flexible, creative approach to teaching

*Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
