About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Manager to join a growing, multi-site organisation operating within the electrical distribution and manufacturing sector.
This role will take ownership of Quality, Safety, Sustainability & Compliance across the business. You will play a key role in driving a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring ISO and legal compliance, and leading sustainability initiatives across multiple UK sites.
This is a highly visible role where you will influence strategy, implement best practice, and drive continuous improvement across a dynamic and expanding group.

Key Responsibilities
Management Systems & Compliance
*Maintain and develop ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications
*Lead internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement
*Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards
*Work closely with internal stakeholders and external ISO consultants
Health & Safety
*Lead group-wide H&S policy, procedures and initiatives
*Conduct risk assessments, audits and implement safe working practices
*Manage PPE, COSHH, first aid and emergency procedures
*Deliver monthly reporting and drive a positive safety culture
Sustainability & ESG
*Develop and implement group-wide sustainability strategy
*Set and manage environmental targets across all sites
*Lead ESG initiatives and group-level reporting
*Maintain ISO 14001 accreditation and environmental procedures
Quality & Continuous Improvement
*Support quality assurance standards across the group
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all functions
*Work with teams to embed best practice and compliance
Facilities & Infrastructure Management
*Oversee compliance for all assets (e.g. fire systems, wiring, legionella, lifts)
*Manage contractors, RAMS approvals and site inductions
*Oversee maintenance, cleaning and building services
*Maintain emergency planning, BCP and DRP processes
Training & Culture
*Work with HR to deliver QHSE compliance training
*Promote a culture of safety, sustainability and accountability
*Support achievement of group H&S targets
Key Requirements
*NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification
*Proven experience in a QHSE / compliance leadership role
*Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
*Experience managing audits and management systems
*Excellent organisational and project management skills
*Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
*Analytical with strong decision-making capability
*IT literate (MS Office, reporting and data analysis)
*Full UK driving licence
*Passion for Quality, Safety, Sustainability & Compliance
