About the RoleThis position involves supporting children within the Reception class and the attached Nursery, helping to create a nurturing, engaging and developmentally rich learning environment. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to deliver high-quality support that enables every child to thrive.
Key Responsibilities*Provide tailored support to pupils across Reception and Nursery
*Assist with the planning and delivery of EYFS-appropriate activities
*Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
*Support children with early phonics, communication, social skills and play-based learning
*Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
*Contribute to observations and assessments in line with EYFS frameworks
What We’re Looking For*Experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally in a primary school
*A strong understanding of early years development and learning through play
*A proactive, patient and supportive approach
*A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent is preferred
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
