Location: Okehampton area, Devon (partner school placement)
Salary: Paid to scale
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2026
A Key Stage 1 Teacher is required for a full-time, long-term position within a partner primary school in the Okehampton area, starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established school environment with a strong commitment to early learning, high-quality teaching, and positive pupil outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging KS1 lessons and supporting pupils through the early stages of their primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1
*Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Develop early literacy and numeracy skills effectively
*Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
*Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs with relevant KS1 experience considered)
*Strong classroom management and organisation skills
*A creative, nurturing, and proactive teaching approach
*Commitment to supporting early learning and pupil development
